A Dorchester man who stood up in the middle of the murder trial of Dwayne Moore and Edward Washington and yelled at a prosecution witness that he was a "rat," a "snitch" and a "rat bastard" will be arraigned Friday on charges of witness intimidation and disrupting a trial for the outburst, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Dennis Jones, 45, stood up last week as Kimani Washington - Edward Washington's cousin - was testifying against the two and continued yelling at him even as court officers ushered him out of the courtroom in Suffolk Superior Court. A spokesman for the DA's office says:

"After consultation with senior prosecutors who recommended an arrest in light of the Feb. 22 outburst, detectives from the DA's Special Investigations Unit began searching for him late last week; they sought and received assistance from the Boston Police Fugitive Unit and Jones was taken into custody today."

Jones will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
