Woman arrested for Charlotte Street home invasion

The Boston Police Department reports arresting a Dorchester woman on charges she and a male accomplice burst into the home and then held the occupants up at gunpoint.

Cyndi Rock, 37, was arrested Thursday on charges of armed home invasion, armed robbery, possession of a firearm without a license to carry, possession of a firearm with an FID card, carrying a loaded firearm and being an armed career criminal, for the Oct. 26 incident on Charlotte Street. Her alleged accomplice remains at large, police say.

According to police, the two knocked on their victims' door in the early afternoon:

"A victim stated that there was a knock at the door and then female forced her way in the home along with a male. The female suspect had a black handgun in her hand. Victim stated that the female suspect yelled 'where's the money? Get on the ground.' Victim handed over a sum of cash to the female suspect. A second victim was approached by the male suspect and stated 'Get on the ground and give me your money.' Victim gave him cash along with a prescription bottle that contained an unknown amount of change. A victim stated that the female suspect waved a black firearm in the air and yelled 'Don't make me start shooting.' "

Police say the two made off with a flat-screen TV, gold rings and cash.
