A lightning strike shortly after 6 p.m. on Saturday caused a three-alarm fire that did an estimated $250,000 to the three-family house at 9 Alban St., the Boston Fire Department reports.
The lightning hit the third floor balcony and the fire quickly spread to the other two balconies, the department says.
None of the ten residents were injured, but one firefighter went to the hospital with chest pains.
