The Boston Police Department reports a man getting out of his car in the fenced-in Sovereign Bank parking lot at 2 Morrissey Blvd. Monday night was robbed by two men, one of whom was armed with a Glock handgun.

Immediately after taking his briefcase, police say, the two hit them man in the head several times with an unknown object.

Both suspects are described as black, between 18 and 22. The gunman was described as 5'5" and wearing a black hoodie; his accomplice was described as 6'.

Police say witnesses spotted two men climbing the fence into the parking lot from the vicinity of Harbor Point earlier that night.
