The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to the Ramada Inn, 800 Morrissey Blvd. in Dorchester, around 2:50 p.m. on Sunday for a fire on the second floor.
The department declared a second alarm to bring in additional firefighters to aid in evacuating guests.
There were no injuries. The department estimated damage at $75,000 and said the cause is under investigation.
