The Boston Police Department reports the arrest of two alleged drug dealers - whom they say stored a loaded gun in a baby seat in a house that had an armed home invasion in December.

Police say officers armed with a search warrant raided the house at 193 Norfolk St. around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday. They found "multiple plastic bags containing heroin and cocaine, police say, adding they were "stunned and astounded" to find the gun where they did.

Pedro Valdez, 33, and Lasonia Gathers, 27, were both charged with trafficking Class A and Class B drugs, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a high-capacity feeding device and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

Police did not say if there was a child in the house.

On Dec. 26, two masked men burst into the house armed with a gun and a taser.
