A two-alarm fire reported around 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday at 57 Fairmount St. displaced three residents and did an estimated $150,000 damage, the Boston Fire Department reports.
The cause of the fire, which sent a firefighter to the hospital with a hand injury, is under investigation, the department says, adding the worst of the fire was in the rear of the building.
