The Boston Police Department reports that two men were shot on Washington Street at Normandy Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

One of the men was declared dead at a local hospital. The other victim is expected to survive, police say.

Numerous shots were fired. Sun Pizza and Brother's Supermarket, both on Washington Street, were hit by the gunfire.

This is Boston's first murder in 2020.
