The Boston Police Department reports the arrest of Daventy Walker, 18, of Mattapan, for a double shooting on Washington Street on Saturday that left Treshawn Boyd, 19, dead.

Police say Walker was arrested Wednesday afternoon by homicide, gang and District B-2 officers.

Walker is scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Dorchester Municipal Court.

Boyd, a 2018 graduate of English High School, was shot a few blocks away from where his father, Jamil Harmon, was stabbed to death in 2010.
