A man riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a large truck on East Cottage Street on Friday afternoon, police said.

The incident occurred at about 1:50 p.m. near 80 East Cottage St., according to police spokeswoman Officer Rachel McGuire.

The victim has not yet been identified and an investigation is ongoing.
