A two-alarm fire at 742 River St. on Monday sent one firefighter to the hospital with a cut and brought the American Red Cross in to help find temporary housing for 18 residents.
The fire, reported around 7:30 p.m., did an estimated $250,000 in damage according to the Boston Fire Department, which says the cause remains under investigation.
