Police are investigating two separate shootings between 9 and 9:30 p.m. on Friday.

In the more serious incident, a person was taken away in critical condition after a shooting at 107 Columbia Rd.

A suspect and a gun were found on Rosedale Street near Codman Square.

A man was shot in the back on Marden Avenue.
