Police arrest convicted crack dealer on variety of charges, including possession of loaded weapons, crack

The Boston Police Department reports arresting a 22-year-old Mattapan man on a variety of gun and drug charges yesterday, only a few months after he got out of a federal prison on a crack-trafficking conviction.

Police officers and federal marshals entered 115 Deering Rd. yesterday in search of Sirrocko "Santana" Landrum, 22, wanted for outstanding charges of assault to murder and threats to commit crime.

Police say officers spotted crack and guns in plain view - and Landrum in the kitchen, where he put up a bit of a struggle before being placed in cuffs. After obtaining a search warrant, police seized three rifles, two semi-automatic handguns and a revolver - all loaded - more than 100 rounds of ammunition, a substantial amount of cocaine and a bulletproof vest.

Landrum was arrestd in 2009 on charges of selling cocaine to undercover cops near the Mary Ellen McCormack housing project and at the Andrew Square Dunkin' Donuts, both in South Boston. He was sentenced last year to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty.
