Another armed street robbery reported in Savin Hill

A woman told police she was robbed in an Auckland St. parking lot on Friday evening (Nov. 4) by a man who accosted her at gun point and demanded "give me everything you got."

A Boston Police report said that the incident happened at about 6:05 p.m. on Friday evening. The victim described her assailant as a black male, late teens, early 20s, medium build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black ski mask that covered the lower half of his face. The robber took the woman's handbag and Iphone before fleeing in the direction of Dorchester Ave. Boston Police searched the area but did not find the suspect.

The incident comes amid an uptick in armed robberies in the Savin Hill area that has prompted C-11 police to beef up patrols in that part of the neighborhood. Last week, Boston Police captured two men — including one carrying a concealed weapon— as part of additional enforcement in that area. A man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint on Mayfield Street on Oct. 18.
