A fast-moving stove fire at 911 Morton Street quickly went to three alarms and left one firefighter with a cut hand and another with exhaustion, the Boston Fire Department says.
The fire, in a three decker at 911 Morton St., broke out shortly before 6 p.m. and did an estimated $250,000 damage, the department says, adding the fire melted the siding on a neighboring building.
The two firefighters were brought to Carney Hospital. The Red Cross was called in to help two residents find a place to stay.
