Vandals trashed library's outdoor reading areaAn outdoor reading room at the Adams Street branch library was vandalized overnight. Someone upended several benches-- pulling them out from their anchors -- dumped trash barrels and trampled plantings. Neighbors were on the scene this morning to survey the damage, which appears to be contained to the outdoor section. There is no word yet on how much it will cost to repair the damage.
