Mayor Tom Menino will announce his intention to seek re-election this year to a record fifth-term as Mayor of Boston this evening at three events in Boston, Roxbury and Roslindale.

Menino's campaign today rolled out a new website that trumpets his accomplishments and the fact that "50 percent of Bostonians have met the mayor personally."
The mayor has also begun tweeting.
