Hundreds lined Talbot Avenue to celebrate the Pop Warner National Championships won by the Dorchester Elite Eagles 14U football team and the Boston Lady Raiders Bantam cheer squad on Saturday, Dec. 16. It was capped off by a ceremony inside the Blue Hill Boys & Girls Club. It was the first National Championship for any Boston team in 37 years of Pop Warner competition.
The Eagles and Lady Raiders are to be honored at Fenway Park on the Wasabi Fenway Bowl on Dec. 28.
Trinity Norman was one of many Eagles fans lining Talbot Avenue for the championship procession.
