Mayor Menino and the Clam Point Civic Association will open the new Byrne playground in Dorchester. The revamped playground features a renovated tennis court and street hockey court along with a water mister tower and a multi-use rubber surface.

Description: Project Proponent: Patrick Walsh, Sr. Project Description: Patrick Walsh, Sr., the
proponent, intends to demolish the existing four (4)structures at the site (252-254 Adams Street)
and construct a new four-story residential building containing fifteen (15) units.
6pm - 7pm Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park Opening Night

6pm - 7pm Meeting for Concerned Citizens over Misuse of O’Day Park
Where: O’Day Park - 85 West Newton Street
Description: A meeting has been planned for citizens to speak about misuse of O’DayPark and
potential remedies for the situation concerning inappropriate actions from dog owners and
others.
