You too can own one of Tom Brady’s signed slippers— for the right donation to a worthy Dorchester organization.

All Dorchester Sports League will auction off one of Brady’s autographed Uggs at their March fundraiser. The footwear was donated to them last week by Luke Barosky, a 32 year-old from Boston who made news last year when he received the Uggs from the New England Patriots QB.

The star’s lightly used and autographed slippers were hidden in the Boston area as part of a scavenger hunt last December as a promotion for the brand. Barosky— in a prank that went viral on Facebook— posted a photo of himself with a missing tooth, purportedly after injuring himself in a fall on Dorchester Heights while hunting for the Uggs.

Brady’s representatives sent Barosky an autographed pair in response, prompting a harsh reaction towards Barosky. He pledged to donate one of the shoes to charity— and chose ADSL.

“I’ve known Luke for years,” explained Candice Gartley, the executive director of the ADSL. “And I knew he was thinking about donating it to Best Buddies, but I sent him a text as a joke that said what about sending it to the All Dorchester Sports League.”

A short time later, Gartley discovered that Barosky had taken her up on her offer.

The proceeds from the auction will be critical for the organization, which saw the number of kids that it served more than double from 2015 to 2016. ADSL’s youth programs include baseball, softball and drop-in tutoring.

“We have a lot going on here, and there are only three employees,” explained Gartley. “We rely totally on volunteers. The money from the slipper will go directly to our programs that need it the most.”

The ADSL’s fundraiser— “Cold Night Hot Stove” — will take place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the First Parish Church in Dorchester. Tickets are $20.
