A Boston Police officer was shot in Dorchester this morning, police said.
Officers got the call at about 10:25 a.m., reporting an officer shot on Mount Bowdoin Terrace in the Bowdoin-Geneva area, and a suspect in custody, according to police.
(NBC News/Boston is reporting the officer was shot in the leg, and there are "non-life-threatening injuries.")
The officer was not identified, but taken to Boston Medical Center in unknown condition. Police said Police Commissioner William Evans will be holding a press conference at the medical center this morning.
The investigation is ongoing. Police would not immediately confirm reports of an arrest.
