ODDS & ENDS: A supporter of former mayoral candidate Charlotte Golar Richie has been floating the idea of a write-in campaign. Golar Richie has said she plans to endorse one of the two finalists, and according to the Globe's Akilah Johnson, told her volunteers at a Wednesday night "Thank You" event that she wasn't interested in waging a sticker campaign.....A poll of insiders shows Rep. Walsh winning in November, according to Boston magazine's David Bernstein, who also obtains an internal Connolly poll showing the councilor leading by a wide margin.....Walsh, on WCVB's "On the Record," claimed an education reform group will be spending money -- $3 million -- on Connolly's behalf. Connolly, on the trail, says the number is being pulled out of "thin air".....Connolly released yesterday a plan focused on supporting women and minority-owned businesses.....The union that endorsed Felix Arroyo, SEIU 32BJ District 615, said yesterday it's endorsing Rep. Walsh.....A top gay rights activist endorsed Walsh, according to the Globe, while Connolly picked up the endorsement of the Rainbow Times.
