#BosMayor Round-Up: Oct. 28, 2013

8 days to Nov. 5. State Rep. Marty Walsh will hold his last "Mondays with Marty" at 500 Morton Street tonight. In Charlestown this morning, City Councillor At-Large John Connolly will outline a proposal for reforming community policing.

GLOBE DIVES INTO CANDIDATES' BACKGROUNDS: If you didn't think these were coming, then you don't know how newsrooms work. (Looking at you, diehards.) The look at Connolly's background as a lawyer is here. The background on Walsh's tenure as a labor leader is here.

GLAESER AFTER DARK: The two mayoral candidates will be at a Rappaport Institute forum in separate conversations with Prof. Ed Glaeser, providing "insight into their positions on the future growth of the city and its economy," according to the institute.
