11 days to Nov. 5. State Rep. Marty Walsh will be in the Seaport District pick up the endorsement of Senate President Therese Murray, a Plymouth Democrat who grew up in Dorchester. City Councillor At-Large John Connolly's campaign is planning a "Creative Economy" fundraiser tonight, with Karmaloop's Greg Selkoe as one of its hosts.
GETTING DARK OUT THERE: CommonWealth's Paul McMorrow takes a look at all the outside spending, from super PACs and unions, flowing into the mayor's race. "No big city mayors race has seen this kind of outside money. Ever," he tweeted yesterday. "This is new paradigm." The Globe's Jim O'Sullivan reports on negative phone calls to voters from a company tied to Connolly. Asked whether he had anything to do with the phone calls, Connolly declined comment to the Globe.
