District 3 candidate Frank Baker hauled in over $10,000 in the first fifteen days of October, according campaign finance records. His rival, John O’Toole, pulled in $3,901. The O’Toole camp said since Oct. 17 they've grabbed an additional $8,850, which hasn’t been filed with the Office of Campaign and Political Finance just yet.
That brings O’Toole’s cash-on-hand to $13,250, his campaign said. O’Toole spent $16,614 between Oct. 1 and Oct. 15, some of that heading towards mailers and donations to causes.
Baker raised $10,727 between Oct. 1 and Oct. 15, and spent $12,192, and like O’Toole, sent some money towards causes. He has $7,889 as an ending balance in his account.
The two are vying to replace retiring City Councillor Maureen Feeney. The election is Nov. 8.
