WHERE THEY ARE: The candidates’ schedules – 7/29/09

Proposed increases in the city's meals and lodging taxes are on the docket for the City Council agenda on Wednesday. Both Councillors At-Large Michael Flaherty and Sam Yoon have criticized Mayor Thomas Menino for the proposal, and both councillors are expected at the noon meeting at City Hall.

Mayor Menino will be joined by state and local housing officials for an announcement of Boston's Homeownership Stabilization Initiative - a 12-month, multi-million dollar initiative designed to strengthen our neighborhoods by helping Boston’s homeowners overcome the challenges of today’s housing market.
