4:00 PM Byrne Playground Opening
Everett Street, Dorchester

Mayor Menino and the Clam Point Civic Association will open the new Byrne playground in Dorchester. The revamped playground features a renovated tennis court and street hockey court along with a water mister tower and a multi-use rubber surface.

receiving federal stimulus funds.

6pm - 7pm 252-254 Adams Street Development Community Meeting
Where: Kit Clark Senior Services Center - 1500 Dorchester Avenue - Dorchester,MA
Description: Project Proponent: Patrick Walsh, Sr. Project Description: Patrick Walsh, Sr., the
proponent, intends to demolish the existing four (4)structures at the site (252-254 Adams Street)
and construct a new four-story residential building containing fifteen (15) units.

6pm - 7pm Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park Opening Night
Where: Franklin Park

6pm - 7pm Meeting for Concerned Citizens over Misuse of O’Day Park
Where: O’Day Park - 85 West Newton Street
Description: A meeting has been planned for citizens to speak about misuse of O’DayPark and
potential remedies for the situation concerning inappropriate actions from dog owners and


11:00 a.m. - Senior Tenant Meeting

Sam will speak with and take questions from seniors at their monthly tenant meeting.

6:00 p.m. - 2nd Annual Stimulus Summit

Sam will attend a meeting on local spending of the federal stimulus package hosted by Councilors Yancey and Turner.
