The 4-team Girls division of Low Rim Intramural Basketball capped off the season with the championship game held this past Friday.

Both teams played well throughout with the Rockets capturing the 2009 title with a 36-24 victory over the Warriors. The Rockets were led by Jennifer Tavares (16), Jayda Teixeira (6), Destinee Morris (4), Maeve O'Brien (4), Sarina White (4), Jennifer Alves (2), Tamya Cox and Arrianna Sanabia. The Warriors, who made a strong second-half comeback were led by D'Mitra Weathers (12), Jailene Flores (7), Abby Connolly (3), Jasmine Castro (2) and Imani Pressley. Congratulations to both teams on a well played title game. Next up for the Intramural sports program will be the Intermediate/Senior Basketball League for players ages 13-18 starting on April 7 and the Co-ed Indoor Soccer League for players ages 8-12 beginning on April 10. Marr-lin Swim Team Hosts Beanpool Meet

The Marr-lin Swim Team hosted the Watertown, Worcester and Roxbury Boys and Girls Clubs for their annual Beanpool Meet.
