Father-Daughter dance draws a crowd to St. Brendan’s School

Dads and daughters pose for pictures: Chris and Hayden Burns, Ryan and Maggie Kelly, and Nate and Clara Houghton.

The long-held spring tradition of the Father-Daughter event was held last Saturday evening (April 5) in Father Lane Hall in St. Brendan’s Church.
Dads in suits and daughters in fancy dresses dined on pizza and danced to Disney’s ‘Frozen’ soundtrack throughout the evening.

Principal Maura Burke and organizers Kim Delano and Dr. Ashley Tringale kept things going behind the scenes as the dads and their daughters took center stage.

Burke said the event is something that the Pre-K-6 school looks forward to each year. Likewise, the event is a good time for dads to bond with their daughters and to be role models as well, organizers said.
