Boston Police say a triple shooting and stabbing on Regis Road in Mattapan on Monday night was the result of domestic violence involving a 46-year-old man who was later arrested for the attacks. Three people, including a 4-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and a 47-year-old woman were shot and an 18-year-old woman was stabbed in the burst of violence.
Police were called to the scene at 33 Regis Rd. just before 11:15 p.m. All four victims were rushed to local hospitals with various injuries, although none had as of Tuesday, according to BPD.
Police say that a citywide search after they left the scene led to a traffic stop in Roslindale just after 3 a.m. and the arrest of Calvin Stokes, the suspect in the attacks.
Police say he will be charged as an “armed career criminal” on four counts of assault with the intent to murder.
