One man was killed and a second injured Monday in a shooting about 6:40 in the evening inside an apartment at 5 Trent Street, a residential neighborhood just off Quincy and Bowdoin streets. Both men were transported to a Boston hospital where one was pronounced dead. Police have not yet released the identity of the victim and no arrests have been reported.
