A coalition of activists from Boston's neighborhoods will host a hybrid candidate debate and forum on Wed. Aug. 14 at Lena Park Community Center in Dorchester with focus on several contests that are coming before voters in the September 3rd state primary election.

The Communities of Color Coalition will feature candidates running for Supreme Judicial Court Clerk, Clerk of Courts Civil Business, and Governor’s Council District 4. The debate will be moderated by Tiana Woodard of The Boston Globe, with panelists including Kelly Garrity of Mass Politico, Ron Mitchell of The Bay State Banner, and Seth Daniels of The Dorchester Reporter.

The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Lena Park Community Center, 150 American Legion Highway, Dorchester
