Bobby Brown of New Edition fame presented a check for $30,000 to Dranaya Owens of Brookview House in Dorchester last week on behalf of the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House (BKSH), named for the performer’s late daughter. Brookview provides safe housing and supportive programs to families experiencing homelessness, many of them victims of domestic violence. 

Brookview and BKSH partner to combat domestic violence in Brown’s home state of Massachusetts. Through the partnership, Brookview responds to all inquiries connected through the BKSH crisis line from victims of domestic violence seeking assistance and resources.
