The Communities of Color (COC) coalition and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley will hold an endorsement rally on Saturday afternoon at Ashmont Station – where Pressley is formally endorsing state auditor candidate Chris Dempsey and COC will endorse Congresswoman Pressley.

The endorsement rally is scheduled to take place at 3 p.m. at Ashmont Station where the COC will announce its endorsement of Congresswoman Pressley in District 7 and re-affirm its endorsement of Dempsey.

In turn, Congresswoman Pressley is expected to endorse Dempsey for state auditor.

A get out the vote rally and canvassing will take place with supporters and volunteers from the two campaigns and from COC afterward.

Pressley is unopposed on the Democratic primary ballot for Sept. 6, but Dempsey is facing State Sen. Diane DiZoglio, of Methuen, in the Democratic Primary.
