The Boston Police Department reports a man arrested on Wednesday for a bank robbery in Atlanta has been identified as Ricardo Jamesy Washington, 24, of Roxbury, who was wanted for the May 8 shooting death of Donell Davis on Milton Avenue.

Washington now faces a rendition hearing in Atlanta before he can be returned here to face arraignment on the murder charge. By the time police had identified Washington as Davis's' killer, he had already fled the area.

Police found Davis, 24, with gunshot wounds inside a Milton Avenue house shortly after 10 a.m. on May 8. He was declared dead at the scene.
