City Council President to host discussion on education quality in Boston Public Schools

Boston City Council President Andrea J. Campbell, who this summer released Action for Boston Children, a comprehensive plan to accelerate achievement for all BPS students, will host a discussion on the implementation of the plan on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 8 a.m. at The Boston Foundation.

Council President Campbell will be joined by Superintendent of Boston Public Schools Berenda Cassellius, Former State Secretary of Education Paul Reville, Boston School Finder Executive Director Latoya Gayle, and Strategies for Children Campaign Director Amy O’Leary.

Panelists will discuss ways to implement strategies detailed in the plan and how various stakeholders and constituencies can collaborate on behalf of Boston’s youth. This event marks the first opportunity President Campbell and newly appointed BPS Superintendent Cassellius will discuss the plan together in public.
