Rep. Hunt talks lawmaking at Adams St. library

As part of its ongoing Civics 101 series, the Adams Street branch of the BPL will welcome State Rep. Dan Hunt to discuss how an idea becomes a law on Monday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. This is an informal discussion on process, not around specific issues.

Rep. Hunt has represented the 13th Suffolk District since 2014. He serves as Vice Chair, Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, & on the Joint Committee on the Judiciary, the Joint Committee on Revenue, the Joint Committee on Ways and Means, as well as the House Committee on Ways and Means. This is a joint project of the St. Mark’s Community Education Program and the Adams Street Branch, located at 690 Adams St., Dorchester.
