Family Fun Day is set for Tenean Beach on Sat., Aug. 6

Get ready for beach games, bounce houses, the Sausage Guy from Fenway, East Coast gaming, Dot Art, face painting, Kona Slush, and around 300 of your neighbors. They are all on tap at the second annual family fun beach day at Tenean Beach, set for Sat., Aug. 6.

For the second year in a row the Port Norfolk Civic Association was granted funds from Save the Harbor Save Bay, in addition to the donations and support from elected officials, including Mayor Martin J. Walsh, Senator Linda Dorcena Forry, Rep. Dan Hunt, Clerk of Courts Maura Doyle, and City Councillors Frank Baker, Annisa Essaibi-George, Ayanna Pressley, and Sheriff Steve Tompkins, who all help to make this day possible for the people in the community.
