Walczak sworn in as chair of Bunker Hill CC’s board

Walczak, who is presently the president and CEO of the South End Community Health Center, is best known as the co-founder and former CEO of the Codman Square Health Center. He also co-founded the Codman Academy Charter Public School, the first public school located within a community health center.

Bunker Hill Community College is the largest community college in Massachusetts with more than 14,000 students on two campuses and at three satellite locations. Sixty-four percent of the students are people of color and more than half of BHCC’s students are women. The College also enrolls more than 900 international students who come from approximately 100 countries and speak more than 75 languages.
