CommonWealth Kitchen celebrates the one year anniversary of expansion to the Bornstein and Pearl Food Production Center in Dorchester with a summer festival, 4-7 p.m., 196 Quincy St., Dorchester. Free with food trucks, local vendors, food demonstrations, music and activities for adults and kids alike.

Monday (13th) – Codman Square Health Center’s Public Annual Meeting at 6 p.m. in the Great Hall honors State Senator Linda Dorcena Forry and State Representative Russell Holmes for their contribution to Codman Square Health Center and our community.

• Dorchester People for Peace monthly meeting, 6:30 p.m. at Vietnamese American Community Center, 42 Charles St., Dorchester. KT Crossman will provide legal observers training as a way to document what goes on at actions for justice and peace.

Tuesday (14th)
– Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park series opens today at 11a.m. with a performance by OrigiNation; with a 6p.m. performance by E-Water Band. Continues every Tuesday through August 18. • The Dorothy Curran Wednesday Night Concert Series returns this evening with the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra conducted by Paul McBride. – The monthly meeting of the Boston State Hospital Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) will be held at the Foley Building, 249 River St., Mattapan, MA from 6-8 p.m. Members of the public are invited to attend.
