Fires on Clarkson Street and Blue Hill Ave. sent three residents and two firefighters to the hospital overnight.
Three people suffered smoke inhalation and burns in a fire that broke out on Clarkson Street around 6 p.m., according to fire photographer Stephen Walsh.
A three-alarm fire that broke out around 9 p.m. in a block of stores at 830 Blue Hill Ave. injured two firefighters, Walsh reports. Firefighters didn't declare the fire out until nearly 2:30 a.m.. The Globe reports the fire did $500,000 in damage.
