Historical Society program on 26th Yankee Division in WWI

On Sunday, November 18, at 2 p.m., the Dorchester Historical Society presents Brigadier General Leonid Kondratiuk, Director of Historical
Services in the Adjutant General’s Office and an expert in Massachusetts military history, who will talk about the 26th “Yankee” Division role in WWI. The 26th, composed of National Guard units from all the New England states, was the first full US Army division to arrive in
France in 1917. Free and open to the public.
