The Boston Police Department reports Boston's seventh murder - and Dorchester's third - in less than a week: A woman shot to death at 37 Stonehurst St. around 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Kristian Maraj, 22, of Dorchester, was arrested at the scene and now faces arraignment Monday for murder and various gun charges, police say. In 2016, Maraj was arrested across the street on charges of unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

One man was fatally shot and another stabbed in two separate incidents on July 3.
