A 26-year-old man was shot to death last Thursday morning (Aug. 6) near the corner of Hazelton Street and Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan. The victim, later identified as Lovenson Pierre of Quincy, was pronounced dead at the scene by Boston EMS. Police were called to the intersection for a report of shots fired around 9:09 a.m., according to a police report. There have been no reported arrests.
