Morrissey Blvd. to be partially closed this week for repairs

The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) announced Friday that the agency will implement various inbound and outbound lane closures along Morrissey Boulevard between Neponset Circle to Freeport Street from Tuesday, October 8 through Thursday, October 10 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The repairs are in preparation for a re-paving process that DCR expects to begin next week on October 15 and 16, weather permitting. Traffic patterns will be marked and a police officer will be on sight. Closures will accommodate overnight milling and roadway repair operations.
