Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Milton Avenue brawl, police say

The Boston Police Department reports a man was knocked unconscious during a fight on Milton Avenue in Dorchester late Saturday.

The man, who was punched out and hit his head on the sidewalk, was "unresponsive" when officers arrived at 73 Milton Ave. around 11:35 p.m.police say:

"Upon arrival, officers observed a large crowd of approximately 30 or more people who appeared to be in their late teens gathered in front of the above address. In the crowd, officers observed an unresponsive male victim suffering from life-threatening injuries and requested EMS. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center for further treatment."
