A South Boston man was fatally shot around Harbor Point on Sunday evening, Boston police said.

The Oct. 29 shooting was reported around 7:45 p.m. in the area of 7 Peninsula Pl., according to police. 30-year-old David Cole of South Boston was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene.
