ADSL hosts ‘Cold Night, Hot Stove’ fundraiser

The All Dorchester Sports League (ADSL) will host its fourth annual fundraising event “Cold Night, Hot Stove” on Friday, March 24 at First Parish Church from 7-11 p.m.

The event is a dance party with music by the Mood Swings Orchestra and swing dance lessons by the Renegaydes. There also will be food and some exciting raffle items such as a ‘staycation’ package, a tech package (TV, Ipad and Echo)and an UGG signed by Tom Brady.

Since 1983, ADSL has provided the youth of Dorchester a safe place to spend time, to develop life skills, to improve their academic performance, to stay active and fit, and to learn the fundamental components of a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. “The revenues from our fundraiser are instrumental in carrying out all that we do here at ADSL,” said Candice Gartley, the executive director. “Every person who contributes or participates has a huge impact on the lives of the kids we serve; we couldn’t do what we do without each and every one of you.”

ADSL is currently preparing to launch their 2017 Baseball, Softball and Basketball seasons, and is continually working to strengthen and expand their tutoring, fitness, and nutrition programming. Go to alldorchestersports.org for more information.
