Man indicted for January armed bank robbery in Lower Mills

A Dorchester man who allegedly robbed the Meetinghouse Bank in Lower Mills in January was indicted for the crime on Monday, according to Attorney General Maura Healey's office. Hendrick Davis, 33, will be arraigned at a later date in Suffolk Superior Court.

Police say Davis was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses when he flashed the handle of a gun and demanded money from a teller on Jan. 6. He made off with $2,315. A witness saw Davis flee the scene in a rental car and police arrested Davis the next day at Logan Airport where he was attempting to rent another vehicle.
