Thursday (17th) – Area B-3 Boston Police host their annual Christmas party at the Mildred Avenue School, 5 Mildred Ave., Mattapan from 4-8 p.m.
Friday (18th) – First annual Dana Barros Holiday Jam Tournament at UMass Boston’s Clark Center starts at 5:30 p.m. The three-day tournament will bring together teams from across Massachusetts, including both boys and girls’ high school and middle school teams. Saturday (19th) – Boston City Singers’ Dorchester groups perform “Winter Stars” concert at Saint Ann’s Parish at 7 p.m. Over 100 young children and teens from all three divisions of the concert chorus, which include ages 4 to 18 and the World Rhythm Ensemble, will celebrate the holidays by singing a range of musical styles featuring songs from a variety of countries. Sunday (20th) – The Friends of Cedar Grove Cemetery 35th annual Christmas Mass in memory of the deceased at 11 a.m. in the Gilman Chapel at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams St. A concert of Christmas music begins at 10:45 a.m. Coffee and pastry will follow the Mass, which will be celebrated by Rev. John Connolly.
